I know that if someone was targeting me with rockets, I'd expect my government to do something about it. Defense is the primary responsibility of governments. If they can't defend their citizens from attack, then the rest of their crap is moot. Of course, being a middle-power, it really doesn't matter what the Canadian government says or how they vote at the UN because nothing we say will have any effect on the situation in the Middle East.
