		<description>I, for one, am glad that my government is standing up in support of a sovereign state&#039;s right to defend its citizens against terrorism. I know that if someone was targeting me with rockets, I&#039;d expect my government to do something about it. Defense is the primary responsibility of governments. If they can&#039;t defend their citizens from attack, then the rest of their crap is moot.

Of course, being a middle-power, it really doesn&#039;t matter what the Canadian government says or how they vote at the UN because nothing we say will have any effect on the situation in the Middle East.</description>
