Kate Allen

Kate Allen is a Masters student at the UBC Graduate School of Journalism.

Kate was born and raised in Toronto, a city she loves. Before moving to Vancouver, she worked as a janitor in Toronto’s busiest hospital, travelled around Portugal by herself, and studied 20th century philosophy in Halifax. She has a BA (honours) from the University of King’s College.

Her interests include science and culture, food writing, and the environment. Her favourite food is poutine.
