Brandi Cowen

Brandi is a Masters of Journalism student at the University of British Columbia. 

She earned her BA from the University of Waterloo, graduating with a double major in history and political science. While at UW, Brandi worked as a staff reporter for the campus newspaper, Imprint, and writer/photographer/editor for Inside sCo-op, a bimonthly newsletter for UW co-op students.

In her spare time, Brandi enjoys volunteering with a wide variety of groups. Recently, she has volunteered with Cambridge Youth Soccer, the Canadian Cancer Society and Habitat for Humanity of Waterloo Region.

Brandi is from Cambridge, Ontario, but is happy to be trading in cold southern Ontario winters for the much milder Vancouver winters that she’s heard so much about.
