Stephanie Hallett

Stephanie Hallett is a Master of Journalism student at the University of British Columbia.

Before beginning her undergraduate degree in 2004, Stephanie was a member of the first editorial collective at Shameless magazine in Toronto. She obtained a BA in Women’s and Gender Studies with a concentration in Urban Studies from UBC in 2009.

Stephanie has written for Canadian Conference of the Arts, The Charlatan, Lifelines, The New Socialist and Re:verse. She has also worked for GAT Productions, a public relations firm in Toronto. She currently works as Editorial Coordinator of YoungPoets.ca, mentoring young writers and publishing poetry resources.

Stephanie is also a hip hop dancer and dance instructor in Vancouver. She enjoys making soup on cold days and dancing wildly in public places.
